Miss Europe 2005, Armenia in top 5

Darn it, we were so close... Miss Armenia, Lusine Tovmasyan was in top 5 finalists for Miss Europe 2005!!!! :(
However, Miss Germany, Shahrivar Shermine, of Iranian origin won the title.
At least we made it to the top five... :)

PARIS March 13 -- Dark-haired Miss Germany, Shahrivar Shermine,
a 22-year-old of Iranian origin won the title of Miss Europe 2005
late Saturday in Paris.

The 1.74 metre (5ft 10 inch) beauty queen, who has just finished her
university studies, speaks German, Farsi, English and French. Her
hobbies are horse-riding and swimming.

Among the judges of the contest, beamed live to more than 50 countries,
were singer Charles Aznavour and couturier Paco Rabanne.

The other finalists were Miss Armenia, Miss France, Miss Slovakia
and Miss England.

There's only one Anush, and yes, she does look prettier than Lusine. Much prettier. Well you know, these things are not objective facts to argue about :)

the objective fact is, that this woman (4.jpg) in my attachment should not be the vice-miss Europe. she is ug-ly.

debutante, some of those people looked like circus freaks. I understand hunger and hard work and genetic mixture and blah blah, but some are REAL freaks. I dont remember seeing such hideous people in Armenia, and I've lived there more or less 20 years.

If this guy is the face of Armenia, then I'm the face of England. Or Zanzibar. It doesn't matter any more to me :D
