Do a Google search for Komitas and more than 9,000 entries pop up. The revered Armenian historical figure, who was born in Asia Minor in 1869 as Soghomon Soghomonian, assumed the name Komitas a quarter of a century later, when he was ordained as a monk...

I have a copy of the Calendar section it's in but I can't get access to it online. It is in the paid LA Times online section. However, I would like to mention that it mentions the Turkish Genocie of Armenians in 1915. Without adding any words like 'alleged'. I don't know if that's a usual thing for LA Times, but it was nice to read that.
