I absolutely despise aeroflot.
Its the worse way to fly to Armenia or other places in that part of the world.

If I remember correctly its something like a 25 year lease, that this Armenian businesman from South America got, in it he has to revamp the whole airport, but he keeps all profit from it.

The owner of Zvartnots airport is Eduardo Eurnekian of Argentina, who owns I thnik 50 other airports or something like that, and who should buy the main airport in Tunis soon.
It's not a new airport that's being built. It's a new terminal, with an estimated cost of 50 million USD. Eurnekian wants to make Zvartnots a lot more busy than it is now.
I doubt Aeroflot has anything to do with this. Armenia's main airline now, Armavia, is owned by the Russian Sibir company. Pity that Armenian Airlines collapsed...but it has nobody to blame but itself and its corrupt administration.

I agree with you G- Stud.
flying with aerophlot must be the worst experience of my life actually...they ship people like animals, felt like it at least that time I took their flight- armenia -moscow, and then ended up in finland for one night on sleeping on a chair outside of the hotel. thanks you idiotic russian air-line!

Yea.... I had a delay from Moscow to Armenia and was stuck in the Moscow International Airport for 8 hours. I ended up sleeping on a chair also just to have time pass by.
What the hell was the delay for? Yerevan is like right there. I could've probably made it to Yerevan if I walked. :D

yeah, and they were so rude too.
At the aurport the staff started to yell at my brother, just because he didint understand what the lady was saying to him in Russian:D
and not every armenian knows russian, but see they dont know that:)
So that makes it simply for me to decide to never ever fly with auropplot again :crying: ;)

The staff at a Russian airport are some of the most annoying people I ever met....one of them tryed to rip money off my mom, talkin about how the weight limit on the bags were too much when it actually was less then the standard limit. I mean at some point I even felt like smakin them out the terminal cause they just kept going on and on for like an hour. The service there is actually decent, but they do get annoying like that.

the Aeroflot service is pretty bad....the flight attendants looked like they've just been raised from the dead, they had no expression on their face what-so-ever. They didnt even bother to smile....except on my way back to the US there was one lady that seemed extremly happy...but I think she's an exception. Russians are just rude in general...the entire time I was in Russia people were just ridiculously mean...all those years under Communist control really does damage a nation.
