Anybody familiar with this Armenian story?

Ok, I remember years ago when my mom would take me to get my haircut, the barber would tell me a story. He called it "Emili eshi," Emil's donkey. Now, is this a madeup story, or does it actually exist in Armenian culture? :confused:
